To Benefit Ace and TJ’s Grin Kids!

The Nutcracker ballet dances, music and
costumes will be highlighted at event.

On Sunday, November 6, the Academy of Dance & Fine Arts will host a “Nutcracker Tea” for children interested in learning more about The Nutcracker ballet story. Proceeds will go to benefit Ace and TJ’s Grin Kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of terminally ill and chronically handicapped children in their listening area, ages 5-12, by taking them and their entire families to Disney World.

The Academy of Dance & Fine Arts is delighted to share The Nutcracker ballet with young children and their parents who are interested in learning more about this wonderful story. Children of all ages, including those too young to sit through an entire ballet performance, are invited to attend. Dancers will share the story of the Nutcracker through dance, narration, and costumes with all guests.

Immediately following the event, characters will greet and serve guests as they are seated at tables, featuring the main themes of The Nutcracker ballet. Guest will have opportunities for autographs and photos with the dancers. Tea, Lemonade and a variety of treats will be served.

The Tea will be held at Trump National Golf Club in their Lakefront Ballroom. First seating is 2:00 pm, and the second seating is at 4:00 pm. Tickets are $20 each for both adults and children. Seating is limited and this event sold out quickly last year,  so be sure to plan ahead and purchase your tickets as soon as they become available.

We are also offering a VIP package this year for a cost of $60 for 2 people. VIP packages include reserved seating, a nutcracker, and decorated pointe shoe. The Academy of Dance & Fine Arts (ADFA), located at 780 Brawley School Road, Mooresville, has been training and teaching dance since 1977. While many ADFA students have pursued dance as a career, ADFA offers exciting programs for those
seeking dance just for fun.

Grin Kids is funded entirely by Ace and TJ’s listener donations. Their goal is to create a memorable life experience for these deserving children and give back to the community that supports their show. ADFA is delighted to be involved with this non profit which gives so much time and dedication to its community!
