We believe teaching the religious aspects of the holidays is the responsibility of parents and religious leaders. Our intent is to make children of interfaith households feel more included and special. We hope to address children who celebrate multiple holidays in their homes and help raise awareness in children who don't.
Through rhyme and pictures, The Elephant in the Room offers a way for interfaith families to celebrate both Christmas and Chanukkah.
The Elephant in the Room evolved from an incident involving one of the author’s granddaughters. It uncovered the need to show children of blended families how lucky they are to celebrate both Christmas and Chanukkah in their homes and to create a new holiday tradition.

Meet the Authors:
Suzan Loeb is the original “Suzan Says” of Marvel Comics romance comic books. She penned publicity and informational pieces in Las Vegas, Nevada and recently retired from The Charlotte Observer. She resides in North Carolina and enjoys spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
A granddaughter’s experience alerted Suzan to the need for a children’s book for families who celebrate both Chanukkah and Christmas.
Lucy Ravich is a teacher with a penchant for perfect grammar. Her relentless encouragement and editing skills resulted in the publication of this book. A valued friend and loving grandmother, she resides in North Carolina.How to Order Our Book:
