Did you hear the amazing news??? FALL is FINALLY on it's way! Yes, I was watching the news last night and Brad Panovich said that cooler temps are on the way!! And if Brad says it, then it's gotta be true...right?!
With fall comes all sorts of fun like apple picking, visiting the pumpkin patch, hayrides, getting lost in a corn maze, festivals, and more. I'm compiling a list this week of all the Fall Fun happening around Lake Norman... so keep an eye out for it on the website!

What's Happening Around Lake Norman This Week
This week is packed full of FUN events happening around Lake Norman! Seriously, the family and I are going to be on the run all weekend (watch our Instagram Stories for sneak peeks)...we have the Rocky River Fall Festival happening Friday night (come say Hi at our Macaroni Kid table and win a prize!), then we have the End of Summer Bash happening on Saturday in Statesville (little miss will be dancing in it) and Saturday Night there's the Davidson Arts Festival and Cornelius Outdoor Cinema is playing Hotel Transylvania 3, then on Sunday we're heading down to Charlotte for Disney On Ice (tickets are still available), plus we have my grandma's birthday as well as church and dinner with the cousins all mixed in as well. I'm going to be looking forward to Monday so I can have a chance to relax!! ;)

Did you know that there are free dance classes every single week for girls ages preschool through high school?! I had no idea this even existed but I'm so happy I found out about it. Little Miss is all signed up for this year and she's having a blast going to dance class every week! In His Steps is a non-profit dance ministry that focuses on body positivity and having fun... click here to read more about it.
The National Parks Service is offering free admission to 4th graders and their families. Fourth graders and their families are invited to learn about our heritage, history, and connect with nature while exploring hundreds of national parks, recreation areas, forests, monuments, and wildlife refuges from the St. Louis Arch to the Florida Keys through a free program known as Every Kid Outdoors. Got a preteen or teenager? In this day and age it's so important to train our kids to be safe and aware of their surroundings. My friend Karen from Carolina Self Protection and RadKids Lake Norman, is hosting a Teen Personal Safety Class which teaches kids the skills to staying safe in the face of danger. Karen does an amazing job of really connecting with kids and making an impact that they will remember.
