What's Happening Around Lake Norman This Week
Alright, so for all my non-Peppa Pig crazy families...there's a TON happening around The Lake this week. I just posted the Lake Norman Mom Groups Guide which is great for getting connected with other women looking for mom friends. If I'm missing one that you know of please let me know and I'll add it (as long as they're currently accepting new members).
If you're planning on eating out this week, consider eating at Red Robin on Thursday to support The Mooresville Soup Kitchen. 20% of your total purchase will be given back to the Mooresville Soup Kitchen.... if you ask me, it's a great excuse not to cook!
Then on Friday the Joe Gibbs Racing Fanfest is happening in Huntersville (I hear there's going to be race car drivers there signing autographs... but to be honest I could run into one of them at Publix and have no idea who they were... but, if you're into racing this is supposedly a fantastic event to meet your favorite driver).
Saturday has several fall events happening including the 'Tawba Walk Arts and Music Festival happening in Cornelius. And for those that want to take a little day trip, Catawba (west side of the lake) is hosting the Murray's Mill Harvest Folk Festival.

Did you know that there are free dance classes every single week for girls ages preschool through high school?! I had no idea this even existed but I'm so happy I found out about it. Little Miss is all signed up for this year and she's having a blast going to dance class every week! The National Parks Service is offering free admission to 4th graders and their families. Fourth graders and their families are invited to learn about our heritage, history, and connect with nature while exploring hundreds of national parks, recreation areas, forests, monuments, and wildlife refuges from the St. Louis Arch to the Florida Keys through a free program known as Every Kid Outdoors.
