1. North Mecklenburg Park

This park has it all- TWO playgrounds, a sandbox, basketball courts, tennis courts, trails and so much more, you could spend your whole afternoon at North Mecklenburg Park in Huntersville and still not see everything it has to offer. The best part is it is fun for all ages as there is something to do for everyone! Parking is ample, bathrooms are available and fun is sure to be had by all at this amazing Huntersville park!

2. LKN Perform

My daughter has been taking dance class at LKN Perform since September and although she is only 3.5 I believe we found our dance 'home.' I am excited to watch my daughter grow as a dancer inside the walls of LKN Perform, where the staff makes you feel like part of a loving dance family. LKN Perform has many dance class options as well as music and acting classes.
3. Jetton Park

Jetton Park in Huntersville is the perfect place for an outdoor adventure in the Lake Norman Area. From its well stocked playground, beautiful walking trails with lakeside views, and sandy beach you could easily spend your entire day exploring with your little ones.
4. Torrence Creek Greenway

Winding through the woods and behind neighborhoods off Gilead Rd. in Huntersville you will find the perfect trail for walking, running and biking with your littles. This peaceful trail offers a variety of scenery to enjoy along the way. One portion of this trail opens up to the Rosedale shopping center with many places to choose from for a bite to eat or a quick treat.

5. Carrigan Farms

Strawberry picking, apple picking, pumpkin picking and a Quarry Carrigan Farms in Mooresville is a place you can go with your family all throughout the year. My daughters had the best time picking apples in September and we are excited to go back in May for strawberry picking!
