The Run Wild 5K & Wild Child Fun Run is giving away TWO race registrations for its third annual event on Saturday, May 10, at the Birkdale Residents’ Club in Huntersville.

Simply comment “I want to Run Wild!” on the the Run Wild Facebook Page by Friday, May 2. We’ll draw one winner for a 5K run/walk registration and one for a one-mile Fun Run (ages 11 and under) registration. Both registrations include a t-shirt, and Fun Run
participants will receive a medal.

Presented by the Lake Norman-based African Children’s Project, the Run Wild 5K begins at 8 a.m., and the Fun Run follows at 9 a.m. The Run Wild presents more than 70 5K individual and team speed awards, prizes for the top Fun Run finishers and medals for all Fun Run participants as well as a long list of crazy awards for things like Wildest Wardrobe, Largest Pride, Middle of the Pack and 5K First Timer.
Proceeds benefit the African Children’s Project’s mission to provide caring, family-style homes for children orphaned by HIV/AIDS in Embu, Kenya.
